My cat is sick :(
Okay, i've been getting complaints that i havent updated lately so here goes.... ;)
1) GRE general test went alright - i got good scores but i dont know if they are good enough to get into uconn which makes me sad but I've gotten used to the idea of me going to FU instead. Now I"m on to studying for the Psych GRE which I have next Sat and i'm hoping to kick but on. I hate having minimal amounts of free time and having to spend it all studying - my apartment is trashed cause i havent had time to clean so noone is allowed over for another week. hehe
2) Work is okay. I'm getting really comfotable with the computer system and my classmates seem to like me which is cool. Last week the trainer was out sick so they had me take over and teach computer screens and stuff. I even had to give a test and grade it and all that stuff. Its awesome that I get the chance to really stand out above my peers b/c not only am I pretty much guarenteed a job come january, but they might bump me over to training instead of claims specialist which would mean a better job and a lot more $ :) :) The only thing that really sucks is the commute which is why andrea and i are planning on moving once i find out definately where i got into grad school.
3) Elections bullshit.....I'm sure all of you who know me know how i feel about what just happened. I'm so dissapointed in the young voters who didnt show up at all. I'm honestly praying for the next four years and hoping that he doesnt get away with any drastic changes but now that he doesnt hve to worry about being re-elected, that is a dismal hope. We're going to have a lot more deaths, more hatered and division, and of course an ever declining economy. Hope you're happy.
4) Jenn's Wedding!!! It was awesome - she looked absolutely beautiful and the reception was a lot of fun. everything was halloween theme but not in a cheesy way; it was very classy and light-hearted. Its so strange to have been planning it and thinking about it forever and now its done and over. Time goes by so fast its incredible. I want to start planning a wedding ;) j/k j/k......
Okay, i think thats pretty much it. Andrea and i had a really great halloween - we went out to brunch w/ my family and went over to Lymann's orchard adn then went home and carved pumpkins and made dinner and watched scary movies and cute stuff like that. Its soooooooo nice to be able to take time off of work whenever I want to. As much as i complain about studying, I love that i can take time to spend with poeple who matter now. I've actually started enjoying my weekends instead of spending them working - its wonderful :) Tomorrow we are heading up to northhampton with group which is sure to be a good time. Its supposed to be warmer adn seasonal on sunday so it'll be a really nice day to walk around town :)
