little bit of nothing

you know what? life is crazy...i mean, i wake up every morning ready to tackle the day ahead of me and before I know it, months have passed. i swear there is less time in the day now than when i was a kid. anyway, on to happier things....andrea and i booked our trip to las vegas!! we have a decent flight (the one back is a red-eye but thats okay) and we are staying at a really nice hotel. its actually a villa and there are hot tubs, spa's, massages, and a beautiful pool - its gonna be all about relaxing :) the unfortunate thing is that in order to get the great deal we did we have to be away for my mom's bday - def not gonna be good when i tell her. its exciting to know that in three weeks i'm going to be basking in warmth in a hot tub and a drink in my hand :) hehehe - we sooo need a vacation.
Valentine's day is coming up - possilby the most contrived holiday we celebrate but i still like getting flowers :) i got the most awesome gift this year...i cant wait to see the reaction! it just sucks that its on a monday. Lmf is doing this awesome protest where couples go to thier local townhall and request marriage liscences - they do it every year and it attracts a lot of press. I really wanted to participate but part of me still doesnt feel ready, mostly the part about talking to the press and having cameras in my face - def not ready for that.
