anamin was right about The Prestige. And the discovery that one of my real-life fascinating characters was played by another real-life fascinating character (David Bowie) made me EEEE. Tesla. There is nothing about this film I didn't love, right down to the dark feel and the musical score. All characters are perfectly cast and give equally strong performances. I don't want to carry on about this one... just go see it. And that goes double for you,

Dark gloomy day here. Rain. There are no groceries in the house and I'm out of coffee so my hand is forced. And I'm in the mood for a big pot of vegetable soup. That should keep me going for a while.
Been having some very good days since the lumbar injections. I have to be aware of how I move and what I pick up, but I'm hopeful. I hope this is the part where I see the end of a long unpleasant journey.
