Yeah, who's to say that when God created Adam and Eve that the didn't have significantly more body hair than we do know and walk more hunched over with their knuckles scraping the ground? Who's to say that all the animals Adam was charged with naming were in fact herds of stegosauruses instead of cows or sheep like we imagine? That's my take on it anyway...Adam and Eve were formed more like early primates than like the humans we know today and the whole business of how we came to be how we are was left out by our generous biblical authors...

I agree about the church thing too...If I had a dime for how many people I've heard insist that Eve ate an apple or a pomegranate to cause the fall of man when in fact the Bible doesn't mention the kind of fruit it was. Or for how many times I've heard that three wise men attended the birth of Jesus when in fact the Bible doesn't provide a specific number, but rather only specifies three gifts. It could have been one wise man or 1,000 wise men. We only believe those things because it's what we learn in sunday school. It's what has been ingrained in us by the church. But even a small amount of careful Bible reading would disprove such commonly held beliefs.

That's all. Just thought I'd toss in my two sense and see if my opinion sparks any further discussion...

Humans and dinosaurs didn't exist in nearly the same time period.

Carbon dating for the win.

I think you're missing my point..I was saying that maybe Adam and Eve weren't as human-like as we tend to imagine, which may account for their presence in the age of the dinosaurs. :-p
