Myers Briggs Personality Types

It seemed that when they threw on these slides for the statistics of people who take the Myers Briggs and who falls into what category, mine was on the very low end of people who came up with that result. In our particular group it was 1-2% of males and 1-3% of females that were the same.

Here's a link to the breakdown of the INFP:

Chris was an ISTJ:

Even though our 'ideal' matches according to this /should/ be extroverts we alternate between being the 'more extroverted' in different social situations. We were talking to each other about it because, as with most people we weren't 'extremes' on anything. I was on the very low end of my results, and pretty evenly on all of them.

I know when I get around people I already know from online or ones that I know that we have something in common, I become more of an extrovert and I can spend all day visiting with someone that I'm trying to make friends with or that I already consider a friend.

In any other situation I am introverted, not very likely to engage or hold a conversation.

In my prime habitat for being an extrovert my Chris is reserved until he gets to know the people we're around the most and then he opens up a little and might even have a little fun, though he doesn't want to spend all day having fun with other people. He's more of a 1-2 hours of fun and then go home kind of guy.

He also talks more and becomes extroverted around me, because I am introverted much of the time with him. So, he feels compelled to engage me in conversation and interaction.
