The waiting game begins

Well I've been preparing for the arrival of Shreddie. He should be here very soon (he was posted on Friday). I've been sewing like a mad person (by hand because there is no sewing machine here at my bf's house), realizing that I'll have to wait until Shreds gets here before I can actually finish the pants for him because I need to make sure the hole in the back is the right height and size for his little tail to poke though. Also I was looking at the fur I bought for him and I am beginning to worry that it is going to be too short for his hair, so I decided that if that is the case then what I'll do is I will see if I can send a swatch of the fur to Tinybear and get her to dye a wig in approximately the same colours, a nice, reasonably short, straight style too (hell I might even get a couple of mulicoloured wigs for Shreds from her). I've got all his faceup materials here with me (including some human eyelashes in pink and purple which I'm going to cut down to fit him...I couldn't resist lol), he is going to be quite different to Kaito (who will also be getting a new faceup once his new eyes come in) because I am aiming for Shreds to have all shades of pink (and a little bit of burnt umber to darken his eyelashes and eyebrows) in his faceup, maybe a little red and brown as well. He needs something fairly neutral that will work with lots of different colours but at the same time still looks bright...if that makes sense.

Ah well. I should probably go eat some breakfast...it really is rare for me to be awake this early lol.
