The end of an era.
Well I finished Harry Potter this morning...that is to say at about 2:30am this morning...yeah I stayed up until I had read the whole damn thing.
Truthfully I was expecting it to be crap so I was quite pleasantly suprised with the way things turned out. I have a few things to say as well...
Wow, its quite surreal to think that this is the end. I mean yeah we have a couple of movies left to go but the series is finished. If you had asked me a few years back, well it seemed that the end was so far away, but it crept up on us so fast...I've been a Harry Potter fan for so long...I mean Draco x Harry was my first venturing into the world of slash fiction, they were my first OTP and I've stayed true to them all this time, they led me into the world of shonen-ai and yaoi and I've never looked back! I've always been a huge Harry Potter fan, I believe I always will be.

- I KNEW that Harry's eyes were important! I mean it is mentioned in practically every book about how much his eyes looked like his mum's. That scene with Snape was so sad and sweet...I nearly cried.
- I KNEW that Harry would live
- I KNEW that Snape was on the Light side *dances*
- In an old fanfic I wrote about Snape having a crush on Lily, people told me that it was crazy and that would never happen...well guess what suckahs! : P
- I was pretty po'ed at Harry for making babies with Ginny...ugh that girl irritates me. Draco x Harry all the way (my ending is so much better than the real one...yaoi-riffic!)
- REMUS! *cries* FRED! *cries* How could they do that to poor Fred!?! I mean the Weasley twins were the only ones I liked out of the Weasley family! I was shocked when George's ear was blown off (although he did take it in a manner which only those twins could pull off lol) but now to lose Fred...that is just harsh Ms. Rowling...way too harsh!
- I'll admit that the battle with Mouldy was pretty good, it didn't drag on but it wasn't too short and it wasn't too easy either...I did like the bit about Harry being the 7th Horcrux though, that was a pretty neat idea.
- I was really suprised at Dudley's attitude before the Dursley's left. Turns out he isn't all that bad...well okay he is but still at least he acknowledged Harry's departure which is the main part.
- The story of the Deathly Hallows was pretty neat though. Thats one fairytale I'd tell to my kids!
