I just ordered and paid for Krissu-kun and my own tickets to Animania, so we are officially going (well okay once I recieve the email confirmation with our ticket numbers on it in 5 - 10 days we'll officially be going).
Currently in my garage, beneath a ice cream container full of screws and two measuring tapes is my Yuki Cross cosplay gun (aka. Bloody Rose)...well atm its more like half a gun that has been violently hacked apart and then been smothered in glue and has had new panels of plastic attached (because Bloody Rose does not have one of those western style barrel dealies on it so out came the little hand held grinder thing and off came those chunks of plastic!) so that it looked more modern. I won't find out if the glue has worked until tomorrow (at which time I have to attach the other panel of plastic to the other side)...its some 2 part epoxy deal which dad said should work. Then of course I have to paint it...and do the details (screws, shading, lettering and such). Blargh. So while I am waiting on that I am playing Kingdom Hearts, reading manga and I'll most likely end up getting a head start on Krissu-kun's TJ Kazakage Gaara gourd.
I've decided that I'm cosplaying TJ Sasuke for a few days of GenCon (with the addition of a flesh coloured shirt beneath his open white one of course)...although I am having trouble working out what the hell the deal is with his fat pants (I can't decide if they are parachute pants or simply leggings beneath a man-skirt) but I'm getting some help with that from my fellow otaku on Cosplay.com so all should be resolved soon.
