Oh Emilie Autumn...
She is perhaps one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. Such a tiny creature, all tattered and tormented. Her candy coloured hair framing her face in a tangled mess as she throws herself about the stage.
I went to her concert a few days ago and it was perhaps the most magical experience of my life.
She touched me...she stroked my face and sung to me.
Such a beautiful voice, both recorded and in real life. Such musical talent I have never before witnessed. The theatrics of the show were amazing, the Bloody Crumpets too...hilarious antics. I was enthralled the entire time.
Seeing her perform Shalott live, I honestly almost cried...it is a beautiful song but live...it is magical. I almost cried so many times because there was just so emotion behind her performance...she really does mean what she sings and it is beautiful...I don't have the words to describe how purely perfectly flawed that woman really is.
"She looks up to the mirrored glass
She sees a horse and rider pass
She says, "This man's gonna be my death
'Cause he's all I ever wanted in my life
And I know he doesn't know my name
And that all the girls are all the same to him
But still I've got to get out of this place
'Cause I don't think I can face another night
Where I'm half sick of shadows
And I can't see the sky
Everyone else can watch as the tide comes in
So why can't I"
