Jaenelle reaches out, suddenly, to tug Galadriel down if she can with perhaps less grace than planned, her face lighting up. "Thank you! I was hoping you'd come by and I'd get a chance to talk to you - it seems like forever since you and me had some time, just the two of us, with nothing really serious between."
Galadriel smiles, tries not to be serious about anything. "It's been some time, yes," she concedes, and leans her head on her friend's shoulder. "Have you been well?"
Jaenelle's arms slip comfortably around Galadriel's waist, supporting her. "I've been - all right. You know how things are. People need help, and I try to be there."
She looks at Galadriel, her smile - affectionate. "That's what I like about you. You understand what that's like."
Galadriel leans into her friend a little more, smiles back. "We always understood each other, I think, after the first misunderstanding, is that not so?"
Jaenelle blushes. "I'm sorry about that," she says, shamefaced. "It's - stupid, now, looking back on it. Stupider, I guess I should say, it was always stupid, but-"
She cuts herself off. "That's right. You understand."
Jaenelle turns her head, slightly, looking up at her slightly taller friend, her expression one of blissful innocence. "I like sitting here like this," she says, somewhat suddenly. "We should - do this more often."
She smiles a bit. "So we should," Galadriel replies, and she leans against her friend, an arm around her shoulders. "It feels peaceful, with you here."
"Like home." Jaenelle lowers her eyes, sighs a little. "I can understand that. I wish sometimes...that I could see your home. Know why you get that look in your eyes when you speak of it."
She doesn't want to disturb the pretty picture.

She turns her head, still beaming. "Come down here! Sit with me, Galadriel. Surely you can take a break, just for a little while?"

When home is Valinor, that's a pretty darn serious statement to make.
