Dear Livejournal,
I haven't posted to you in forever because all of my friends have Xanga and I like keeping them updated and have them stay updated with me. But because of recent goings on I'm going to revert back to you. I've had you for almost 6 years now, longer than most of my tangible possessions have stayed with me, and surely more than all of the friends I have now.
My shitty ex boyfriend keeps trying to contact me and I won't let that happen. I've finally given him up, after 2 years of putting up with him, I'm done and over it. I'm a grown up now, I'm in college, and I can take care of myself. That includes knowing what's good for you and getting out of an abusive relationship is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
Currently there are 2 weeks left of summer before I move back into school. I'm still waiting for my room mate information. There are 2 more weeks and I have no idea where I'm living or who I'm living with, only that I'm living somewhere on campus. I could have gotten an apartment with my friend but I only have my permit, I don't have a job, and I like having things like life insurance and not having to pay utilities. I'm not moving out of my house until I get my license which won't be until I'm at least 21.
This weekend I'm going on a road trip with my boyfriend and lots of other people from NJ ska. I'm not excited for the show itself, but I hear there will be parties and road trips are always fun. It's going to be technically my last weekend here since next weekend I have to pack, so I hope it is awesome. I'm going to Knoxville, TN, my first time in the South since I was 14!
Tomorrow I'm hanging out with creepy Greg then Wednesday I'm going to see the Aquabats in Coney Island with Lou and spending the rest of the week with him. Friday morning me, Lou, Will, and Mike Davis are leaving for Ska Weekend and coming back Sunday night. This week will be good.
