Matt stood in the middle of his flat, frowning.
“Hils!”
“Yes?”
“What’s that?”
Becker looked over. “It’s a book.”
“I can see that!”
“Then why ask?”
“I meant, why is it there?”
Becker shrugged his shoulders. “Your bookshelf looked bare.”
“What about the throw on the sofa? And the rug?”
“Matt, mate, this place is empty. I was trying to make it more homely.” Becker sighed. “I’ll move it all.”
Matt looked around again. “Don’t. I kind of like it.”
Becker smiled. “Good, in that case, tomorrow we are going shopping. First thing? Curtains! I’m tired of flashing your neighbours.”
