Devotion and Magic
Recently I have been trying to pull all of my interests into one daily focus. I wanted to practice my magical skills daily to develop not only my practice but my understanding of the worlds. I decided to use the ritual below which I can experiment with the energies of the directions and devotion to my patron deities.
Call on the four elements of our realm: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Blend these energies together and cast or mark a circle around me

Call to Open the Gates of the East, South, West, North, Above and Below. See the power flow into the circle and at the centre visual all these energies weaving together and creating a crossroads of power.
Invoke or Awaken the Goddess of Heavens - Isis the Great Mother of Above
Invoke or Awaken the Goddess of the Underworld - Nephthys the Great Mother of Below
Give Praise or Awaken the Green God of Vegetation (Osiris) and the Red God of Chaos (Set)
Awaken and give thanks to the spirits of my home and the spirits of the Land.
Give praise and thanks to the Goddess for the path I am on and the blessings on my life (in Praise pose).
Use the energy of the six directions, pulling them into the centre for a magic spell or blessings and healing. In future I wish to look at each direction and travel through the world tree.
To close I thank and bid farewell to the spirits, the Gods and Goddesses, close the gates of the six directions and disperse the element energies that created the circle.
Recently I have noted the similarities between Ishtar/Inanna to Isis and Ereshkigal to Nephthys. The Queen of Heaven and the Queen who lies Below.
