Doctor Who: Let's Kill Hitler!

Sep 03, 2011 21:05

Just finished watching the new episode of Doctor Who Season 6 Part 2. The ABC didn't advertise it very well and it was pure coincidence that I found out it would be on tonight a few hours before it aired. Anyway, before I get too sidetracked, here are some random thoughts that I really want to get off my chest:

- 'Shut up, Hitler!' *POW!* Single coolest line of the night. I actually yelled out 'Go Rory!'

- I guess I'll never really get over Donna because I smiled and teared up when I saw her in the TARDIS (and hoped a little that they managed to talk Catherine Tate into a cameo). It's been 3 years dammit! And she's a fictional character! But it's still so unfair! And it hurts! At least the Doctor hasn't forgotten her (but as of he could)

- How much of a geek am I, that when they were talking about the question of the universe, all I could think of was hasn't Douglas Adams done this already?

- Alex Kingston was, on the whole, having way too much fun in this episode

As for the episode itself, it was fun but confusing at parts, like the Automatic Interface, but that could be because I could't hear properly. I wonder now if we see more River after this, because we've now come full circle in regards to her arc. There's not much more to tell, except to explain what happens in America.
