A king cobra lies solemn in it's 3 foot cage, through the stainless steel he rests his souless eyes upon my body, taking me to another place outside of time itself. We're in the desert now and the sky is rolling, flashing diffrent colors of orange, purple, blue, green, and gray. The sun can not stand still forever. The scales of the cobra caress my flesh, as I fall to my knees, lost and weary in my own abondenment, the cobra sinks its venomous fangs into my neck. Paralyzed by such beauty. The sky continues to roll, I know now that the sun cannot stand still forever, I crash into the desert walls, the desert ground. His eyes rest upon my body, waiting for my soul to leave this earth. It appears I've been watching you for days. Humanity has tried to tame the beast. You have tamed my spirit, as I float amongst all the colors of the sky, as I drift into the bewilderment of your eyes. This reptile, this creature, has become my only companion, his poison flows through my veins, a thin fine line between love and madness, my heart lost and weary, it feels as if i've been wandering this desert for 40 days.
