Well, I’m sitting here in Missy’s living room. Everyone is sound asleep. Well, almost. Gumpy is still wide awake watching Robocop 2 on the Starz network. Today has been a relatively decent day. Rather, yesterday I should say considering I havn't slept yet. I called Riki today to see what she was up to. I havn’t seen her in over a year and a half. My brother stopped by while he was working to inform me he was going to pick me up at 5:30 to take me out to eat, to the film festival to watch a movie about the French revolution (don’t ask) and than out to a club in Ham Trammack called Mephestios. I’ve never been there, but I know Jessica is really familiar with it. Well, anyways Riki picked me up and took me out to Royal Oak, which happens to be one of the best cities in the state of Michigan. In all honesty, that probably isn’t saying too much. Nicci & Missy must be furious with me. Considering what Gumpy just informed me of a few minutes ago, I can defiantly understand there reasoning behind it. None the less, it was just nice to get the hell out of Rochester. She may be selling me Dorthy, her piece of white van with countless memories for a couple of hundred. This will help me out a great deal considering I’ll be able to transfer back and forth to work and start applying for new and better jobs. Riki informed me that I should get into the cell phone business because there is plenty of money to be made. I imagine it will be a lot more stressful than making sandwiches all day and I might actually have something to show for it.
The first thing we did upon entering Royal Oak, was stop at a tiny coffee shop. I can’t recall the name of this place. All I remember is it had plenty of odd statues all over the place and old tin, metal ash trays. There was plenty of random writings on the bathroom walls. I wish I could remember some of the random quotes. They actually seemed significant unlike the premature ual innuendos I’m used to reading on the bathroom walls. Afterwards we ran out of the shop to watch the train go by and while lying on the sidewalk I told her that I would have to take her train-hopping one of these days. We also got pulled over by a fine Royal Oak police officer who ironically enough didn’t harass us. Kudos. We proceeded to Noir Leather. I love tormenting myself this way because it always seems I go into that store knowing I can’t spend any of my money or have no money to begin with. Riki managed to buy herself a very cute, seductive black outfit and a pirate cigarette case. Afterwards we headed to Tokyo Sushi, where I used chop sticks for the first time in my existence. Riki was impressed with how easily I picked up on using such unique instruments which must have been from all those years of knife play. This reminds me, I still have Sushi in the fridge. Afterwards we spent the rest of the evening reminiscing on one of the city benches. Where we smoked cigarettes and ran into a homeless man looking for pop cans through the garbage pins. Riki gave me a couple of dollars to give to him and I stood there had a short conversation with him. It was almost like a brief reflection on myself. Sometimes I worry about what the future has in store for me. I havn’t exactly accomplished much in my lifetime. Yet for those of you who know me, really know me, perhaps I have.
I finished off the evening with Mumpz, Pokey, and my y, seductive arch nemesis Crystal where we played rummy on the back porch and sipped away on E&J and coke. I kicked their ass. All in all it was a relatively decent day. Did I forget to mention mom made pot roast for the first time and didn’t burn a single thing.
P.S. Crystal is taking my City Club virginity Saturday night and I know a secret and it involves dental floss.
