About Me: New Friends (who are apparently hiding)

I seem to have been recently friended by a number of people who I don't think I know and/or I haven't seen around. If you don't drop me a line somewhere ( OVER HERE, for example), then I won't know why you friended me or how you found me or anything that would make me think to friend you back. And since I literally friends-lock every single post (this being one of only 4 exceptions), you won't ever see anything on your f-list from me if I don't friend you back. Hence, my confusion over why so many of you are hiding.
Do please introduce yourselves! I promise that I'm quite reasonable.
