She's outside -- has been more or less constantly outside, since the weather began to allow -- sitting cross-legged on the grass, bent over the skirt she's hemming.  It is evident, by the faint scowl and not-so-faint "ows", that mending is not her forte.

*wanders by, planning to sketch ..some sort of thing. Maybe even Rosana, if she'll let him* ...Having fun? *grins*

Rosana throws a look upward, in half-feigned annoyance. No.

[derothling]

I'm sorry to hear it, then. Theo sits down next to Rosana, stretching. --You know, you could ask Zara if she'd do that for you.

[ebon_divinity]

She laughs shortly. "That one? Not likely."

[derothling]

"You could give it a try, at least. How've you been?"

[ebon_divinity]

"Fine." Rosana swears, and puts her finger in her mouth. "You?"

[derothling]

"Bored, mostly." Theo glances down at the notebook in his lap. "I want to go off somewhere with Mickle, but that's rather hard to do when you can't find your own wife."

[ebon_divinity]

"Affairs of state?" she inquires with mild sarcasm, and picks up the needle.

[derothling]

"One would assume," he replies with a grin. "Or maybe she's just finding it amusing to do thinsgs without me."

[ebon_divinity]

"Shouldn't wonder."

[derothling]

"She tends to do that." He flops backwards on the grass, smiling. "Maybe I should sketch this," he remarks, gesturing around them. "It's pretty enough."

[ebon_divinity]

"It's all pretty," Rosana says indifferently.

[derothling]

"Spring generally is," Theo agrees, picking up a piece of charcoal. "You don't mind, do you?"

[ebon_divinity]

She's amused again. "Do what you like-- ow. Damn it to bloody hell."

[derothling]

"I'd help," Theo remarks abstractedly, beginning to sketch, "--but I'd just end up making a mess of things."

[ebon_divinity]

"Expect so." Rosana frowns at her handiwork. "You'd try and get fancy and I'd end up with embroidery or something."
