girls are the worst!!! part 2
so about a week ago i made a cleaning list since we have to check out and check back into our apartment(not move stuff out, just clean and have it inspected) and justine comes up to me and was like "you made a cleaning list. . . i was going to make a cleaning list, but you said that i shouldn't because everyone is staying here over the summer except me." "yea, but that was before we got these papers that say that we still have to" "we had the same papers when i wanted to get everyone to clean." "no we didn't. i didn't think that since you were leaving tha-" justine walks off! she was out of the room while i was in mid sentence! so i just shrugged it off. on thursday i noticed that she hadn't signed up for anything when everyone else had, and she's the one moving out. so i wrote a note saying "justine-why haven't you signed up for anything? you are the one moving out. i'll gladly give you some of my stuff." this morning(sunday morning) i go into the kitchen to see her reply. "i haven't even checked out yet. this isn't even a real cleaning list. you know that i'm going to clean. i'm a big baby." (ok, the last thing wasn't really in there) so i go on about my business and get some orange juice when she comes in.
"did you write that?"
"yea"
"why?"
"because we had all signed up for stuff and you hadn't. and you're the one moving out"
"you haven't cleaned one thing since you've been here"
"what? yes i have. i actually did most of my stuff yesterday."
"most of you stuff? you only had what, the sink?"
"uh no, i had the microwave, the sink, the couch, and stuff in there"
"well, yea, we all have to clean our rooms"
"i'm talking about the bathroom"
"i don't share a bathroom with you. whatever, i cleaned your stove. that was just silly for you to write that. i've been up now for 25 hours and i come home to see this?"
"i didn't know that you had been up, but i just thought it was weird that you hadn't signed up for anything."
"whatever, i'm moving out soon anyway. it was just silly for you to do that"
we proceeded with about the same conversation once more, then we finally just said screw it.
it seemed odd that she was going to let all of us clean up when she's the one leaving, right? comments?
