Ugh, companies suck :P
They are building a new house next door and when the electric company came to run and bury their wires, they sliced through the main cable line for our entire side of the street -.- This was about 2pm yesterday. By cutting the cable line, they cut our phone, internet, and tv; on a Thursday, prime viewing night! So we called them, they set an appt to repair it for this morning between 10 and noon. Noon came and went, no sign of the guy. We called them again, they said they would be here in about 10 mins. 30 mins came and went so we called again and got the 10 min reply again. Another hour went by, no one showed up and then I got called into work via my cellphone to help deliver a route (which being home the last 2.5 days with my bored mom; I gladly jumped at the chance to earn some cash). I come home at 5 and find out still no cable guy :P
Finally he is just leaving, took him all of 20 mins to run a new line, meanwhile we were without internet for a full day (the one thing that truely bugged me as the tv shows will repeat and I hate telephone calls xD). And now I am getting back online trying to catch up with e-mail and other junk :P
And I found a site that looks interesting... Puzzle Pirates! What could be more fun than fighting other pirates via puzzles? I'll have to wait until next payday to find out :(
