Hmmm
Okay, so I was reading Kite's LJ... and it got me thinking...
And I have to admit I totally got sucked into that whole ugly attitude about colleges. I was insecure that if I looked like I seriously considered SJSU(is that a CSU? whatever), people would think lesser of me? =/ (<--weak, I know. And it wasn't even really an issue with my parents either)
And I was a bit of a brat about SJSU. WHich is ridiculous really, cuz it's a good school. My cousin went there, and I'm majoring in art (apparently they have a good art program), and it's close to home, so...what did I have to complain about? Nothing.
But I fell under pressure and I was like "psh, I don't care about SJSU. I want UCLA or CMU."
Now...I'm not saying that I would choose SJSU over UCLA or CMU. I guess I still have that ugly streak in me. But I shouldn't have blown off SJSU and not consider it seriously.
And it's hilarious, really, cuz now I'm just glad they've sent me their certificate of admission. (Screwed up on UCLA apps...don't even want to think about it)
And actually it's because that I screwed up on UCLA's app that I'm just happy SJSU accepted me.
So..."everything happens for a reason" indeed.
(this post prolly doesn't make too much sense...read 200 pages of Crime and Punishment...but just thought I'd make an attempt and putting down my thoughts...) Oh. And Kite? YOur icon? I love it ~_^ (<---I don't care if that smiley doesn't make sense! Aaargh!)
