Due to the weather, work, and being at home, I had not been to the grocery store in about two weeks!!! I was literally out of eveything, but most importantly, fruit, and so today I finally had to go...I spent $175 at Wal-Mart! Phew!!! That's a lot of groceries! (I needed it though!) I don't know how those of you who live in states like California

haha, I'm actually considering (very seriously) ditching my car all together...but we'll see. Small trips to the farmer's market (we have about 5 a week in the area) and to the grocery (I suppose it helps that I'm at Whole Foods a lot, when I'm actually working there) mean that I can fit everything in my bag or in the baskets or strapped on top of the bike. Eppe and I have a "grocery getter" bike (named Gene Kruppa). You can load this thing up with sooooo many groceries, it's unreal (and also a lot of fun)! The other day, I actually called it "the car" on 2 seperate occasions by accident. It's like the SUV of bikes, and you always, always, always get rock-star parking when you ride your bike!
