Can't Get Here Fast Enough
For the first time in five years teaching, I cannot wait to be done with this group. This has been the worst year ever. By far. I'm just so angry and frustrated with this mix of kids. The level of apathy, especially from the senior class, is embarrassing. I mean there are at least six kids absent from class that I talked to today. Kids that I KNOW are not nearly done with what they need to be done with. Not to mention my underclassmen, who think they are going to be able to breeze by the end of year portfolio.
Sorry, gripe over. I'm spending too much time feeling sorry for myself.
Got another bite yesterday. Up to eight requests. (Four rejections out of those and four still live!)
Might blog about genre a little later on.
