Measles Outbreak in Boston Shows that Even the Vaccinated are Vulnerable
NPR story here SYNOPSYS: People born between the years 1957 and 1969 may be vulnerable to the measles, even if they were vaccinated. Anyone planning to travel to the Boston area, or overseas, who was born during this time period should talk to their doctor about whether or not to get re-vaccinated for measles as a precaution--especially if you're going to Germany for the World Cup, as over 1,000 Germans have been diagnosed with the measles this year.
