Eben Brooks, live from ... your place?
I'm working on my future appearances in various places up and down the West Coast. In addition to the monthly Lestat's show I do with Allison Lonsdale (see details below), I'm also lining up performances at various conventions: Conjecture/ConChord in San Diego in October, LosCon in Los Angeles in November, possibly GeekFest III in Seattle in December. I'm also hoping to submit the video for "Hey There Cthulhu" (link goes to video) to the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival in San Pedro in September.
This, of course, means that I'm doing a bunch of traveling. And while I'm traveling, I'd love to see you.
Though I've only done a few of them, one of my favorite ways to perform is at house concerts, where I can really get to know the people I play for. These events are so much fun, and so memorable, that it’s a growing national trend. Are you a little bit curious?

Of course, I don't have to be traveling to do a house concert. It's very easy for me to do shows in San Diego. But when I know I'll be in another city on a particular date, it makes the trip nicer when I know I'll be able to do a house concert, too.
