An Ideologue's Idea Log: Entry #10
Ways I need to change the "Eben Brooks Band" website to be just the "Eben Brooks" website, and ideas on how to accomplish them.
- New shopping cart. The osCommerce shopping cart is buggy, plus it's way more than I need . . . kinda like swatting flies with a bazooka. So I need a new one.
- Go with the PayPal off-site shopping cart
- Look into CDBaby's cart to see if I can adapt it to my needs
- Look into possible solutions via WordPress
- Redesign "About the Music" page. It currently only highlights one album, Mirrors. I need for all album information to be available, but also for it to not be too long.
- Make "About the Music" a gateway page, which links to individual pages about each album
- Implement expandable/collapsible album/track information
- Create new intro video. I liked the "Presenting The Eben Brooks Band" video I had up before, but now, of course, it's no longer germane.
- Take existing video footage and make video "presenting" just me
- Talk to Sun, Moon, & Stars Productions about putting something together
- Write new bio. The one I have is old, old, old. Some of it still applies, but not all of it. (No sub-points to this one; I just have to sit down and do it.)
- Redo the logo. Again, no sub-points, just something I have to get off my butt and do.
- Fix the news feed. Darn it! Why doesn't anyone tell me these things are broke?!?
