Slow healing
I have a nasty cold/flu thing that just won't go AWAY! Uncle Wookie is still not feeling well, and it has been a horrible week for several reasons. My kids seem to be doing well and that's good.
I had another trip to the ER last week. I called 911 and rode in the ambulance. The hospital said I won't die and sent me home. The doc gave me more pills and put me on "bed rest". Uncle Wookie was terribly sick throughout this ordeal. As soon as I started recovering from one thing, I caught this terrible cold. I have, of course, been whining and complaining much louder than Uncle Wookie did... but that's my job.
I have been mostly in bed (or sitting around) for a week. I re-read the entire Stephen King Dark Tower series (Thankee sai Wordslinger). Now I need a new book. I'm hoping I'll be well enough to get back to work tomorrow. I doubt it. My fever has come back. bleh.
