2nd Bullet: [RL] Aftermath of Hakuna Matata

[At DMC, with his feet kicked up on the desk per usual with a motorcycle magazine spread open, eyes shut. This whole thing with Lady...he was confused as hell. And worried what she'd do to him once she snapped out of it. Not that it wasn't great or anything, to be honest, it was fucking amazing. He just didn't want to get shot anytime soon.

[it took Lady only an hour into the check-in process at the airport to feel the affects of the virus begin to wear off. And, with the eventual wear of the virus, came the eventual guilt and disgust at the things she'd done while under its influence.

So, she took the most logical course of action; refunded her ticket, hopped a cab back into town, picked up a few magazines for her uzi and an extra clip for her 9 mm and took her Honda over to Devil May Cry. She was sure Dante would hear her pulling up outside, but she still had the element of surprise--none of that mattered at the moment, however, so she just walked in, guns blazing]

[Has Ebony already in hand as his other hand reaches to pick the magazine up off his face] ...you're the one that wanted to do it, Lady. I'm not gonna say I didn't enjoy it, but you wanted to. [sighs as he stands] Shoot me all you want, it's not going to change anything.

Oh, shut up. [walks over and knocks the magazine away with the barrel of her gun] You can't tell me that you don't know that's something I'd usually never do. I don't believe that you can't figure me out after knowing one another for ten years. You had to know something was wrong. [glare] But, that doesn't matter to you, doesn't it. I can't believe you.

[sighs again, surprised that he's actually this calm about it] You haven't figured everything out about me after ten years yourself, Lady. [raises an eyebrow]

Obviously not, if I thought I could trust you not to take advantage of the affects of a virus I was under.

I know, I know. I was acting like a moron, I get that. [smirks slightly] You do have to admit it was nice, though. [Surprisingly, there's no trace of sarcasm or snark; he really means it]

Whether it was . . . [flustered!] nice or not has nothing to do with the fact that we just . . . [vague and frantic gestures to his desk] in the middle of . . . [loud, exasperated huff] Have you no shame?

[grr she is not a happy camper right now. Facepalming both because she's frustrated and because she does NOT want him to see that flush in her face]

In that case, the answer is definitely "no." Did it not even occur to you that I was under the influence of Dionysus' virus?

[doesn't even flinch! He was halfway expecting this.]

[may have pulled back the action of her gun to disarm it, pulling out the clip and putting it away and clearing the barrel, leaves the empty gun on his desk and takes a deep breath to calm down.] Yeah. When I didn't have to think about the consequences, that is what I wanted. But, you know that it's against my better judgment, usually. Or . . . I thought you did.

[lets out a small exhale as she sets down the gun, setting Ebony down as well. Not that it was actually loaded, of course not. >___>]
