What is wrong with this place?
Haven't been doing so hot lately. I'm off my meds because I can't get in to see my doctor, but she won't renew my prescription without an appointment, but she has no appointments... catch-22, etc. So I keep wavering between paralyzing depression and slow-burning rage. It's not exactly the best situation to be in when you have a full-time job and other adult responsibilities to take care of and are out of sick/vacation/personal days.
Thanksgiving was nice except for having to deal with my crazy, racist grandmother. And then my brother (the one who lives in Seattle) going psycho during a game of Scrabble.
The day after was spent at the vet. Louie has been sick on and off for a couple of days. It turns out he's got an infection. But while the vet was examining him, she discovered he also has cataracts and arthritis in the knees of both hind legs. He's already (approximately) 10 years old and Shih Tzu generally live to be about 13-16 so I'm really worried about the little old man.
Today Mom and I did Donut Bootcamp. It was a lot of fun but at the same time, I didn't enjoy it as much as the other classes I've taken at that place. The recipes weren't the best, even the chef admitted it, so the end product wasn't that tasty. Or pretty.
Tomorrow maybe I'll post some pictures of various cooking classes/food I've made lately. For now, I should go to bed instead of sitting here being sad and pissed off and watching endless episodes of Pawn Stars.
