I get that same feeling quite often. I think a lot of us do on the internet. :) It's the downside to not being able to see people's actual reactions, methinks. I find Tumblr to be a bad site for that because users tend to reach this celebrity status and suddenly nobody wants to talk to them anymore and they get lonely.

This will so be me. It's really unfair how expensive university is. How many degrees did you write? I'm thinking that you have a PhD? But I might be getting you confused with another girl on my flist who was discussing student loans and debt a while back.
yeah although i have my face recognition problems, i rely on facial expressions and body language a lot in conversations, so both the internet and the phone can be difficult for me. i had a tumblr but i abandonded it. :/ it didn't seem very interactive to begin with?
i only have one. i was going for my phd but never finished it. so i have all this debt for nothing. :(
Tumblr is sort of weird in that I see a lot of people who are all interactive with their followers and they have a bunch of friends, but I just... haven't figured it out! I think being interactive on Tumblr is some kind of art or science. XD
Aww, that's rotten. I'm not sure what I want to do once I'm finished my BA. I mean, ideally I want to be a literary publicist, or editor, which I don't think I need a Masters for? It's just a lot of experience. If that doesn't work out, I'd like to be a Canadian Literature prof, which means PhD. :)
