Cut for spoilers...

Or the post where Kerry had a surprising amount of time in which to watch TV this week.

This show is a bizarre mix of stereotypes (India is a bright, colorful place where everyone is a bad driver and no one understands American culture!) and trying to hard not to be stereotypical (look, here is an annoying employee! you have those in America, yes?). Where it ends up is being is neither Indian nor American nor funny. Having worked in an environment like this in India, I get the sense that the writers of the show are just cribbing off the movie of the same name and have never been to India. For instance, the call center is on the ground floor of what appears to be an office tower or complex of some sort and it's got lots of windows that perpetually show a cow and a stall where goods are being sold. Well, yes, you do see a lot of cows roaming around the streets of India and yes, there are random stalls shoved between major shops, but most of the offices I visited were in these giant, gated business parks that wouldn't look out of place anywhere in America if it weren't for the stairwells/elevators being open-air. So, no cows wandering up to the window. I'll probably watch the next episode to see if it improves but right now I am very eh about it.

Zzzzzzzzzz. Could this show get any more boring? I don't care about House/Cuddy. Where is the medical drama?! Where is Wilson? What is this crazy Thirteen/Chase bullshit? I predict this will be the last season of this show if this continues.

This show is just not for me. I spent half the time LOLing to references to the original show and the other half going, 'wait a minute... who did what with the what?'. Pass.

Decent, but I have a feeling this is going to be the last season for this show too. I mean, Chuck finds his mom and then what? He's already almost a super-spy. Gone is the nerd from the first season, for sure. And he's got the girl. So what's left?

To be honest, I thought the whole Sheldon dating/wanting a kid thing could've been a lot more hilarious. Now that Leonard and Penny aren't together it's almost like they're trying to force Penny into situations on the show with a steam shovel. Guess we'll see how they handle it going forward.

First, let's pause LOL over Tom Welling producing this. Second, let me admit that I have this guilty-pleasure thing for the Bring It On franchise. With that being said, this show is cutesy, catty fluff. That's not a bad thing. But I'd like more sass and cheerleading and less of Marti running around being a law crusader. Since she's pre-law, not in law school, and this is not Legally Blonde.

Not exactly the best season opener they've ever had. I liked the contrast in the beginning between Dean's current and previous lives. But as soon as Sam showed up, I just spent a lot of time going 'err, what?'. Is Sam actually a robot or a clone? Does he no longer possess any emotions at all? Because that was one lame, half-hearted hug of a reunion. Also, I do not get the Campbells thing. Where have they been all this time if they're supposedly a famous hunting family? Why did no random hunter ever go, 'hey, you're Mary's kids! I hunt with your cousins/other relatives!'? Also, anyone else get the feeling that Samuel and the cousins are a tad bit on the evil side? It's kind of sad when the most interesting part about a show about monsters is scenes of suburbia.

Well, this was slightly better than rambling on about how much I hate work.
