No, seriously, that was the title of a review of
The Heir, which is one of amazon's free kindle downloads this week. What the fuck does that even mean?! There are other Christian business thrillers? Is this a new genre?! Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
This past week, I read three books, all three of which happened to be about gay men. Coincidentally, I read them in age-order from the one about the guy in his 20s to the one about the guy in his 40s. Strangely, each book was better than the last. Normally I can't stand the bitching and moaning that happens in books about men of a certain age (gay or straight), so I was pleased.
The Landlord by Jeff Erno. Why do I keep buying this guy's books?! They are all so awful.
Between Boyfriends by Michael Salvatore. So cute! It's like a gay version of Sex in the City.
Insignificant Others by Stephen McCauley. It's slow-paced but when I got to the end, I was all sad that it was over already.
Now I'm Life After Joe by Harper Fox and Alternatives to Sex by Stephen McCauley. Anyone else have recs?
