Yes, indeed. I actually traveled back in time to when my parents first got married and opened an AmEx card in the hopes of one day confusing creditors everywhere. No, actually, I used to be a secondary cardholder on my dad's account(s) so I could pay the bills while he was out of town. When I got my own AmEx, apparently they just carried over his "member since..." date to my card. This totally proves how much credit card companies pay attention to what they're doing, right?
