I actually bought My Bloody Valentine.
Holy shit, kids, I'm leaving for India in 2.5 weeks. Yet I still do not have my Visa. However, I do now have a travel buddy (SR). So, hilarious story.
I only knew of SR vaguely in the sense that she had attended a meeting I was also at some time two years ago. We had never formally met and yet we traded baking recipes over email. Last week, WO tells me that SR is going to India the same day I am and then SR IMs me on Wednesday asking if we can split a hotel room in Delhi. I say, sure whatever but my hotel room already got approved and paid for by accounting. She's all like, sweet mine will be paid for too but do you want to split costs on visiting the Taj? So of course I'm down with that. Next thing I know, we're planning all this other stuff to do together including a trip to Goa between the first and second week out there.
Anyway, I tell WO all this and he's like, ...but you don't know each other?!
Having friends you've never met is apparently shocking to him. Then again, he doesn't know what a DVR is nor does he have an email address other than the one at work. Which is probably why I had to explain to him how to use craigslist, among other things.
Today I washed and waxed my car. It was soothing at the time but now I'm so exhausted. Apparently sun and fresh air are not my friends.
