everyone is doing these 2008 memes but there are too many questions and they require a better memory than mine seems to be today. so:

plus side:
+ promotion at work
+ mutinous visiting!
+ vacation in seattle
+ presidential election
+ burn notice picked up again
+ made a small dent in the massive amount of debt i owe
+ kindle!
+ wii!
+ fallout 3!
+ bioshock!
+ awesome comic book-based movies

minus side:
- economy
- gained a lot of weight
- company announcements for 2009
- spent the entire summer working 14 hour days
- vinni getting sick
- damage to car
- dad being sick (still)
- mom being sick
- illinois politics=failboat
- unrest in india
- pretty much everything else on the planet

i'm sure i'm missing a few things.

anyway, i'm making lasagna today from scratch, including the pasta. also, i took dad out to a creole/southern restaurant last night and he loved it. yay!
