...I am seriously craving a sandwich from the German bakery. Hmm...and maybe one of their cheesecake slices...cherry and chocolate I think. But I'll save $8 and have leftover Lamb Casserole and mashed swedes instead, and eat it over this week’s menu planning, while wearing sweatpants, D's sweatshirt, a fuzzy scarf and multiple pairs of socks. Feijoa is a funny little winter fruit that Kiwis absolutely love! though I must say it isn't exactly my favortie. To "perfumed sweet" for my liking.

And yes, it's winter...our seasons are about six months apart.

A Feijoa sounds very much like a quince, in that they also have a perfumed smell and I did not care much for it.
