At this moment...
...I am seriously craving a sandwich from the German bakery. Hmm...and maybe one of their cheesecake slices...cherry and chocolate I think. But I'll save $8 and have leftover Lamb Casserole and mashed swedes instead, and eat it over this week’s menu planning, while wearing sweatpants, D's sweatshirt, a fuzzy scarf and multiple pairs of socks. I think I am probably looking a bit freakish at the moment, but I don't care as it's the only way I can be warm at the moment.
I need to pre-make evening tea, just in case I go to town this afternoon. O, yes, I should probably hang the clothes out while the sun is shining, even if they won't dry. Dorothy's bed probably needs a little airing to...it's been awhile. And while I'm at it vacuum out her kennel, before all that recently shed hair makes its way to the rest of the house.
I think I'll wait till tonight to research olive pickling with D. I also need a feijoa preserve recipe, which I can do while the pizza dough is baking. There is also a lot of housework to do, but that will have to wait for another day, for the menu takes top priority.
