Look, I just bought ACII. I've played it, as much as I've been able, for the past week or so. To be clear? It is AWESOME. I mean, in what other fandom do you get Leonardo da Vinci as your sidekick? *grin* Ezio and Leonardo... like Batman and Robin. Except Leo's much less flamboyant.
Anyway. I've just found the last of the hidden symbols and I need to vent.
(Warning for POSSIBLE SPOILERS for a game that's been out for over a year. But more likely is that you won't understand a word if you haven't already played through this yourself)
AAAaaah! Adam and freaking Eve! Arcaic! The ORIGIN OF THE SPECIES!
You don't understand, huh, Ezio? Well NO SHIT! Of course you don't! How could you? THE TRUTH is so much more complicated, and is yet so simple. Lies. Restrictions. ...Entrapment. That's why: "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted." Everything. Freaking EVERYTHING that it's all built upon are just lies. Many things have grains of truth in them, but they have been twisted to show an entirely different picture.

Well, you probably didn't get much out of reading this, but it helps me to rant a bit when I get a bit - you know - obssessed. ..I didn't write that much, but this has helped me think, so it still has some purpose, I guess.
- By the way: I keep hearing that "tinkling" sound the game makes when you're close to a chest, feather or a locked symbol. Is that normal? 8I
...and isn't Altaïr's armour sigh-worthy? I think it's sigh-worthy. *dreamy sigh*
Aaand one more thing: The Bleeding Effect? Do. Not. Want! That is some creepy-ass shit.
