Great top - but you may not want to ruin it when you start to sweat buckets when running..... :)
TKmaxx and Sports World are pretty good for (black) sport clothing staples. Although, even I now wear a hi-vis jacket so I don't get squashed by a car!
You may find joining a running club useful for motivation, running technique and training tips etc.
I joined one of the Women's Running Network groups http://womensrunningnetwork.co.uk at the end of last year (with a huge amount of reservation...) and find it absolutely wonderful. I go to the one in Saffron Walden but there are other groups dotted in and around Cambridge that would be nearer to you/your work http://womensrunningnetwork.co.uk/east/map.htm
Once you have a a few months of jogging on your own/with friends/running group you should think about investing in a decent pair of trainers - I don't agree on spending lots of money on sport kits (!) but getting a good pair of trainers will help you run better and most importantly prevent injury.
This place was very helpful and even film you running on a treadmill to make sure you get the right sort of trainers for you http://www.runnerway.co.uk/index.html (beware: Proper trainers don't come in any shade of black...trust me, I tried!) and unlike me, you should certainly invest in a decent sports bra!
Good luck! I look forward to hearing about it all.

As for trainers, I'll see if I can find a pair I can dye ;)
