Job hunt and missing people
Just a brief hi to my somewhat lonely and dusty journal. This week I've been looking for jobs. So far, it's not gone overly well but then, I'm sure I'm just being a tad hard on myself.
Oh! And I am no longer a Brumgoth Virgin. Went on my first outing last night to a curry house (sapphrine dear, please remind me WHERE we went.....), then on to the Mercat and Eddies. I met a few lovely people who were all welcoming. I've hopefully made the foundations for a few friendships.
And then of course, toxicpixie was there too. :-P
It's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long since I've spent time with the lil guy, it was great to see him there. Also managed to convince him to come on to Eddies, though realistically when did it take much to persuade him to go drinking?
In the meantime, I've been missing Carlisle or rather it's inhabitants over the past couple of days. So guys, if you're reading this, say hi!
Also, I've had a couple of the first edition of photos back from Dave and I'm very very pleased. I'm rather looking forward to the next photograph frolic!
Anyway, off for now. I'm very tired, achy, thirsty, my back is KILLING me for NO apparent reason and I'm feeling rather twittery as a result of all the above.
