we arrived home from vacation on saturday. since that time, i have been trying to prepare for the first day of school next week. all this week, i have been trying to get my room ready. some teacher eons ago allowed students to paint the walls of my room. so i have been spending hours making fake bulletin boards to cover up pictures of the animaniacs and a dog with a bow, among other "pieces". i just can't look at that stuff all year. other than that, i am still clueless as to how to start off the year. i hope to god i am a better teacher than i was last year.
