MAGFest 5.5: Chicago
My Chicago trip was a wonderful learning and social experience. I met with friends and paid two or three times what I expected to pay for two nights at a hotel. ubik2501 and the_af let me visit them along with the incomparable Ailsean and his lovely wife Kris. We ate good food, played great video games, and generally lounged. I am awful at Mario 3 and decent at Tetris DS.
I would have taken pictures if I had a camera. Someone buy me a digicam?
Props to Brian for the beer and putting up with my spelling his name with a Y. Thanks Rob for the hospitality despite the ridiculous security ("I can't give you back your IDs. Only your host can.") Sean and Kris, thank you for the Sparks and the Puzzle Quest and the guitar kwak.
