It's been an absolutely beautiful day. Dark, gloomy looming skies, endless rain and drizzle, getting dark earlier and earlier.... I feel 1000 times better now that I've started taking iron suppliments, too. The only real trouble with this evening was that the weather brings out the crazies in FULL FORCE. Jesus tits, the streets are flooding with the criminally insane! I swear to you they're everywhere I looked tonight.
I went downtown after work to take Ama cookies and pizza and there was this guy (guy a) who got on the bus- Mr. A is using an able-walker to drag his feeble fat body about- he looks like, maybe he's got some spinal injury or something. He sits down, rides a while, gets off---- walks slowly and painfully maybe six feet- stops- turns around, folds up his walker, RUNS back to the bus like a 20 year old, hops onboard, grabs his bag that he forgot, and bolts off. Stops. unfolds his able-walker- hobbles off.
that was just the beginning- I was going to list all of them, but I've lost the will, and the patience. Leave it to say GUARD YOUR CHILDREN. Tweakers twitching like they've got Tourrets- maybe they do? OCD homeless folding and unfolding their sweatshirts with obsessive relish, maniacs yelling "HEY PORTLAND, I LOVE YOU!!!" in the middle of the road, a japanese girl who can't seem to get her mouth shut all the way no matter how hard she tries, jaw drooping in an endless macabre grin.
I don't know.
I love this weather, but it seems like it makes the locals go koo-koo.
