The view from Megatron's chest!
I got to perform last night between periods of the Nashville/Chicago hockey game on a stage set up at one end and about half way up the lower bowl of the Sommet Center, (Nashville Arena). This season, the arena acquired a new scoreboard that is a bit more high tech than the last one. To make it more impressive, the announcer kept referring to the new "Jumbotron" as the "Megatron!"
Needless to say, every time the announcer would say this, I had this mental image of the whole assembly sprouting limbs and a head and annihilating the whole drunken sports crowd with a massive gun while still displaying, on its chest, myself and the rest of the band playing a tune and running Papa Johns adds in the corner displays.
Ahh...a fun time had by all!!
