This is the first time in a long time that I've been able to look at our bank account and not be on the verge of a heart attack.
We're still TWO MONTHS BEHIND on our rent, but we have an awesome landlord who is basically like "don't sweat it, I know you'll pay me." We have enough to cover the two months right now and probably just barely squeeze through until next paycheck, but he's apparently having knee surgery this week, so he said to just pay him in a couple weeks anyway. Seriously. Wow. And Konan has at least one 70 hour week on his next check, so that should be good.
I'm still stressing because we need to get caught up on our power bill, and because his income is probably going to kick us off of foodstamps. Which is yay, but stressful because I've gotten so used to not having to worry about food coming out of the bank account.
I hate playing catch-up because so much of our money is spoken for before we even have it, but it's actually almost starting to look like we might actually end up being able to start putting money in *savings* in a couple of months. And we might even be able to start giving ourselves a fun allowance again without having to basically steal money from ourselves. Haha.
