Gar, I hate being sick. Throat hurts like a biatch. 101.4 Fever too T_T

On the plus side, no school! NO TOY! No grande homework due until next week :D Yes, I haven't finished it yet. :D

Finished english poem. Freaken hard....

In silent corners an epic battle raged,
As mind and sleep fiercely fought page by page.

With black ink and keen paper Boredom did maul,
The head of student Emery that with sleep did fall.

With sweet scents and computers Boredom did distract
She who only aspired to absorb truth and fact.

Mneme! Desperate student, Emery called upon thee,
And wished for knowledge from page set free,

To be taken in quickly or else bounced back,
To infamous Boredom, ethics he did lack.

As paper swords stabbed at evil distractions to no avail,
Our student’s brain began to wither and fail.

Once, twice! History, desperate to reach safety of mind,
Only the undefeatable flanks of Boredom did it find.

Unyielding as weeds, history struggled for its goal,
But Emery seemed to brink on losing her soul.

Athena, seeing the plight of wisdom in its battle with evil,
Led her heavenly forces against those led by the devil.

Swords clashed as Athena’s army fought bravely,
Rescuing History, whose forces had suffered greatly.

What remained of History was then restored,
Recorded in Emery’s mind as her soul soared,

Like a bird swooping above a battle site of success,
Her happiness raised, she was free of all distress.

However, evil Boredom in darkness hidden deep,
Plotted for revenge, allied with unsuspecting sleep

The inevitable race of history to Emery’s brain
Would happen soon; both would suffer deep pain.
Emery slept blissfully, in a peaceful state,
Unaware of Boredom’s venomous hate.

She soon discovered what she would pay
To Boredom; during history class the next day,
She was affected by sleep’s long ray.
Denise coming home tommorrow.

I plan to review rocks and minerals and physics tommorrow. Oh, and flute :P
