Things were going really well, then I did pirate stuff, wrote a curriculum, and stressed out about everything, and now I'm ten books behind.
But I did read a few things:
February
1. Your Call Is Important To Us, Laura Penny
Not what I expected - more a politically-fueled diatribe and less an examination of marketing techniques.
2. Talking as Fast as I Can, Lauren Graham
Funny, fast-paced, but surprisingly light on juicy gossip and behind-the-scenes details.
3. Words on the Move, Dr. John McWhorter
Ya'll, this man. So good. If you're even slightly into language, read this.
4. Cheaper by the Dozen, Frank Gilbraith Jr & Ernestine Carey
Comfort reading.
5. The Invisible Library, Genevive Cogman
Librarian-themed fantasy: yes please!
March
1. Rising Strong, Brene Brown
Hard to read, so it took forever, but so good. Courage, vulnerability, honesty, bravery.
2. Thrice the Brinded Cat Hath Meowed, Alan Bradley
OH FLAVIA, WHY YOU BREAK MY HEART. (despite this, if you are a fan of smart mysteries, 1950s England, and/or spunky girl heroines, please do start at the begining of the series.)
