After torrential rain early this afternoon, there was a lull of a few hours before the wind started picking up and now I can hear it howling outside. The power cut out for a minute or two, came back on and flickered a few times, cut out and came back on again, and now I think it'll be out of commission for a little while because it sounded like a transformer blew the last time. I've unplugged the power cords to most of the major electronics in the house.
I've scrounged up a battery operated radio so I can hopefully tune in to the Flyers game at 7 and I hope the flashlights in the house have enough power to get us through the entire night. The one good thing is that we weren't socked with the blizzard that OH and Western PA were getting. I think the temp was actually in the 50s, so it'll be fairly comfortable if the power doesn't come back on.
