Happy (and drugged)

To preface this, I'd like to say that my vicodine consumption was my oral surgeon's suggestion, to make sure that I don't have a bad reaction to itbefore getting my wisdom teeth taken out next month.

It's going to be fun, I get my wisdom teeth out the only weekend Ben's coming home until summer, I think. C'est la vie. At least I'll be able to do my chipmonk face really well. For anyone who hasn't seen me do that face, you're missing out. It's absolutely the silliest thing I do, sillier than my accidental and habitual clumsiness. Which is funny, as well. For example:

1. Last Sunday, I locked my keys out of my car after my lunch break, and completely lost them. My boss spent 20 minutes trying to break into my car before we realized they weren't even in there. Then Ryan Guptill picked me up and drove me home (Thanks, Ryan! Sorry I missed that mock trial meeting...)

2. During the English Final presentations on Wednesday, I was sitting in my desk, wearing Uggs, with, my right foot sort of on my desk. I was uncomfortable and my bag was falling, so I tried to readjust myself, and in the process, I fell out of my desk. Completely. Tommy Reed helped me up, and Charlie Sprague asked if I was drunk. Mack and Meli just laughed and roled their eyes. This all happened in the middle of someone's final presentation. Oops.

3. Later that afternoon, I was painting the set. I got up on the ladder, and was painting one of the flats, when I looked and saw that the ladder was shaking like crazy. I'm afraid of heights, and got all flustered, and dropped a can of bright turquoise paint on the stage. It was only after I cleaned up that I realized that the flat had been shaking, not the ladder. Spaz? I think so.

4. 20 minutes into my history final, Sr. Diaz walks in with a set of keys. Ms. Schumacher holds them up and is like "Are these anyone's". I look up and realize that they're mine... the only set of keys I have left since I lost the other one's last week.

5. Driving in the city with my sister and Amitai: I ran over like 7 curbs and almost hit 3 pedestrians. Walking back up to her apartment, I slid and fell on my bum. It was cute. (we saw the best movie in the city though, "In Good Company". It was awesome, go see it. now.)

6. Ooh, I just remembered. After shopping with Jodi, Brenna, Elliott and Katy on Friday, we went to Starbucks. I spilled my tea. Everywhere. Ms. Powell-Brace walked into the store and was like "Typical, who else would have done that." Even my teachers acknowledge my spaziness. What does that say about me?

I'm sure there are other stupid things I've done recently, but these are the ones that come to mind. Some all time greatest include:

1. I was the wizard in the wizard of oz in an artz for kidz summer camp when I was seven. I walked onto stage, my theatrical debut, and my skirt fell off. Tada! (But I kept going, because the show must go on). My dad has it on video.

2. Frosh year, I was hanging out outside the gym after school, because I didn't have a car back then and I thought I was cool. It was November, and it had been raining earlier that day. Someone kicked a soccer ball, and it landed in the middle of the muddy quad. The people playing with it were way at the other end, so I walked over to it. I wanted to be all cool, because they were like SOPHOMORE guys, so I went to kick the ball really hard, and I slipped, and fell, completely, on my ass. Just like, SWOOP. Everything from my neck down was muddy. And to top it off, I had to take the bus home and walk, and it was squishy and awful, and started raining on my way home.

3. My general inability to eat food without spilling is always amusing, though I can't think of specific incidences. It's worth mentioning that Ben (and his parents) give me plastic cups when I go over to there house. I'm smooth, really smooth.

So, the vicodine is making me prone to digression. I wanted to talk about my weekend and how amazingly awesome it was. For example,

buying Elliot tye-died baby clothes,

going to the 10-year anniversary gala at SFMOMA with my dad's lawyer, his fiance, and her funny, gay former law-partner. I got served wine at dinner... I felt cool/old. (yes, i know I'm lame). THey're trying to get me an internship there this summer, which would actually be the most amazing thing in the entire world.

Making tuna casserole (eww!!!!) with jcoop.

Sleeping in until one on saturday... one o'clock. no work, just sleep

Going to Party Sushi with Katy and Amitai, and hearing that some of the grad students at the Cowboys and Indians party I went to last week asked about me. Before we went to the party, I made my sister and her roommate promise not to tell anyone I'm in highschool. It was fun.

Seeing "In GOod COmpany". It was amazingly good, and I liked the soundtrack

I finally saw Napoleon Dynamite

Hanging out with Kayleigh and Ellie. I love them. It's nice having friends who just know you. I like not having to explain things, or give history. They've known me long enough that they just understand what I'm saying. It's comforting.

Hot chocolate with cayenne pepper

"Y Tu Mama Tambien"... Diego Luna, Gael Garcia Bernal making out...Mexican porn
Painting the set, and having it start to actually look like a set
50 minute aromatherapy massage at Entourage. I have the best ex boyfriend ever.

Taking vicodine and being really chill. And now it's time to do some work. But that's ok. I think that this semester is going to be better. It's starting off well, and I'm going to try to not get so worked up about things that don't matter. I hope everyone had an equally relaxing weekend, and I will see most of you manana.
