There's nothing like January 17th, 2005 and stuff.
Well, here's another entry... finally. I don't have a great deal to talk about, but I do have two things in particular.
First off, Hayley and I celebrated the big 2 on Saturday. I enjoyed it, regardless of the getting lost and freezing to death in Chicago. Actually, all that was important to me was that Hayley had a good time. <3 <3 <3 to Hayley. When we got back into town, I wanted to spend a lot of money on a really nice dinner to make up for not making it to the Museum of Science and Industry so I took her to Thai Cuisine. It was mighty tasty if I do say so myself. Then we rented this one movie with Hayley's Japanese girlfriend in it. It was kind of weird but entertaining nonetheless. Overall, it was a fun time.
Also since I've been away from my LJ, I got together with Bikes Not Bombs a few times. We have a new song, and I even have lyrics for the whole thing. I think I should stop making lyrics for songs, though, because I can't sing. Oops to that. We also apparently have this dude booking shows for us. Our next one is this Saturday at Minglewood if anyone wants to spend $5 (I think). Damn show prices these days. Music should be free for God's sake.... Just my opinion. If it were up to me, people would be forced to give away their music - no money involved. Maybe then people would learn to appreciate music more for what it is. Okay, my rant is over. Anyways, I can sort of understand the fact that the venues cost money, and it helps to give touring bands gas money. It doesn't change my opinion though.
